Dexter: Resurrection Recap: Three Birds, One Stone — Who Did Dexter Add To His Body Count?

Dexter Morgan isn't the only one who's been shockingly resurrected.

In Friday's episode of Dexter: Resurrection, as Prater's chopper lands at a lavish estate outside of the city, Dexter needs to figure out how he's going to handle taking down a second gemini killer. (Read more about that bonkers twist here.) But before he can figure out his next move, Peter Dinklage's obsessed billionaire asks "Red" if he's comfortable sharing with the group. A serial killer show and tell? How... kindergarten.

After watching a video where Al strangles an innocent woman out for a jog, Dexter knows he's got to be convincing. (How great was it to watch Michael C. Hall pretend to be the Dark Passenger in the mirror, black hoodie and all?) He's able to impress Al and Prater by pretending that the Dark Passenger is a mask Red takes on and off. Prater even shares with Dexter in return, revealing later how he met his very first killer. It was the man who killed his parents, and that man's story utterly fascinated him.

But while Dex is able to satisfy the man in charge, Gareth No. 2 grows more and more suspicious. It's odd to him that people keep dying around them shortly after a new guy joins their gang. Dexter knows its a problem he needs to solve — and fast — so he confronts Gareth head-on. He tells him that he knows the Gemini Killers are twins. Gareth tries to shrug it off, but as Dexter explains how there's no way one person would be able to pull off such elaborate double kills, Gareth gets rattled, then comes clean. But once Dexter admits to killing his brother, Gareth breaks a wine glass and attacks him. And since this show isn't called Gareth: Resurrection, Dexter overtakes him and sticks the broken glass into the man's neck. Prater and Charley see the scuffle going down, and Dexter, knowing he's being watched, calls out for help in a "panic." Dex then fabricates a story about how Gareth wanted to prove he was a visionary by taking out Lowell, Al and Red. Prater buys it, but Charley's not so certain. Still, Dexter solved his Lowell problem and took out two more killers in the process. "Three birds, one stone," he says. Productive!

Meanwhile, Batista tries to convince Wallace that Mia's death was not of her own doing. While he isn't exactly successful, he does get one bit of evidence out of her: Mia's fingerprints were on all of her trophies... except one. The watch Dexter planted. Doesn't get any more suspicious than that.

When Dexter arrives home, Batista is there dancing and having a blast with Blessing and his family. After exchanging fake pleasantries, Dexter agrees to gives his old colleague a ride back to where he's staying. In the car, Dex tells him to stay away from him and his son. Batista says he's not going to let him get away with what he did to Maria, Doakes and Deb. And becoming a rideshare driver just as a serial killer surfaces who's taking out rideshare drivers? A move right out of the Bay Harbor Butcher's playbook, says Batista. With that, Dexter kicks Angel to the curb. "If I really am who you think I am, this can't possibly end well for you," he says. "I'll take my chances, buddy," Batista replies before exiting the car. But little does Dexter know, Batista stashes his Airpods in the passenger-side door. Now, he can track Dexter's every move. The plot thickens!
