Who Got Married In Love Is Blind's Dramatic Season 6 Finale?

Three couples went into Love Is Blind's Season 6 finale believing they were ready to walk down the aisle, but only one pairing stood tall at the very end.

Jimmy and Megan Fox Chelsea didn't even make it to their wedding day before calling it quits at the top of Wednesday's dramatic hour. Picking up where we left off in the penultimate episode, Jimmy asked his fiancé during a private dinner if she wanted to get married. Although Chelsea communicated that she was ready to move forward with the wedding, he just couldn't see that happening for himself.

"Every day, you've done exactly what I would want in a wife. I want us to work so bad," he said, "but I don't want to go to the altar. I can't."

Jimmy's decision came down to their constant fighting and Chelsea's betrayal of his trust after she revealed on camera that he slept with a close female friend — a fact he shared in confidence. But Chelsea got defensive and reiterated her discomfort about his relationship with that friend. Their conversation then digressed into another argument and ended with an upset Chelsea storming off to cry alone while Jimmy sat and pondered in silence.

Meanwhile, Clay and AD were still determined to follow through with their impending nuptials despite Clay's ongoing commitment issues. In previous episodes, Clay admitted he was afraid to cheat like his father, who had taken him along on "infidelity trips" as a kid. However, he and AD were bubbling with excitement on their actual wedding day and made it all the way to the altar before things imploded.

The pair exchanged emotional vows, with Clay shouting out AD for looking out for him, and AD calling him a safe space and a home for her. And when it came time to say, "I do," AD was all in. Clay, on the other hand, flipped the script on his fiancé and brought their ceremony to a screeching halt.

"AD, I love you. I don't think it's responsible for me to say, 'I do,'" he told her. "I still need to get to a point where I'm 100% in, and I'm not going to have you over here thinking that this is not going to work. I'm going to put the work in for you and we'll go through this."

A stunned and devastated AD could barely muster up a 'What the f—ck' before gracefully leaving the altar and allowing herself to fall apart moments later in her dressing room.

"I keep doing so much for these men and carrying these f—king relationships and it's just not enough," she shared through tears. "I can't drag him. I can't force him, and I'm not going to beg him to pick me. I'm done."

Clay did not appear as upset in the aftermath and got reassurance from his mother that he was making the right decision if he didn't feel confident saying yes. During his confessional, he listed other factors that went into the decision such as not knowing what AD's finances were and being unsure that he was deeply in love with her. Still, he refused to give up on their relationship and visited her dressing room to share how badly he felt, also assuring that they can get through this. But after everything, it's safe to say that AD is finished with him.

Clay's parents, meanwhile, got to the heart of the issue in what is perhaps the most honest moment of the series. In a vulnerable chat, Margarita spoke on how their son was carrying the weight of their broken marriage into his own relationships. She put the onus on Trevor to apologize to Clay for placing a heavy burden on him with the many lies he told, some of which she just found out about, so that there can be closure. When Trevor admitted he didn't have many role models growing up, Margarita responded with sage advice:

"Although we came from broken families, that doesn't mean that we have to pass on that brokenness to our kids," she said.

After all that, we were left with just one couple to make it official: Amy and Johnny. Of all the pairings this season, they were the most compatible. Their biggest conflict involved which method of birth control they'd use, since neither were ready to start a family just yet. Amy refused to take an oral contraceptive and Johnny felt that a vasectomy was too extreme, so they were still figuring things out.

During Amy's joint bachelorette party with AD, Amy coyly revealed that she and Johnny were "waiting it out a little bit" regarding sex. AD couldn't hide her shock that Amy was "buying a car without test driving it" and later joked, "She's f—king that man."

On their big day, Amy and Johnny were all smiles as they stood at the altar. "I love your soul," Amy declared during their vows. In the end, they both said, "I do," and ended the season on a relatively positive note.

The Season 6 reunion special will hit Netflix on Wednesday, March 13 at 9/8c.
