SNL Sends Donald Trump's Family To The White Lotus, With Scarlett Johansson As Ivanka — Watch Video
Looks like Saturday Night Live isn't ready to check out of The White Lotus just yet.
Saturday's SNL featured a pre-taped sketch that imagined Donald Trump and his family enjoying a Thai vacation on the hit HBO series — here, retitled "The White POTUS." James Austin Johnson's Donald filled the role of Jason Isaacs' Timothy, despondent over crashing the U.S. economy with his tariffs and turning to McDonald's chicken nuggets to ease the pain. (Plus, Chloe Fineman showed off a killer Parker Posey impression as Trump's wife Melania.)
While Trump's sons Donald Jr. and Eric argued over protein smoothies, his daughter Ivanka sought enlightenment from a Buddhist guru, with Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as Ivanka. But when the guru said she must be willing to ask herself, "Am I ready to give up greed and material possessions in order to lead an honest and ethical life?" she hightailed it right out of there. We also got host Jon Hamm as a knife-wielding RFK Jr., Sarah Sherman wearing some ridiculous fake teeth as Rick's girlfriend Chelsea and former SNL cast member Beck Bennett back as Russian President Vladimir Putin — aka the only person who knows how to comfort Trump after a bad dream.
