Leighton Meester Returns To The CW In Good Cop/Bad Cop Trailer, Featuring Adam Brody Cameo! (Exclusive)

Spotted: Leighton Meester back on the network that made her a household name in TVLine's exclusive trailer for the new CW procedural dramedy Good Cop/Bad Cop (premiering Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 9/8c).

The former Gossip Girl star headlines the show as Lou, a beleaguered detective who is forced to partner up on the job with her socially-challenged sibling Henry (played by Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Luke Cook). As "an odd couple sister and brother detective team in a small Pacific Northwest police force," the duo "must contend with colorful residents, a serious lack of resources, and their very complicated dynamic with each other and with their police chief, Big Hank (Dexter: New Blood's Clancy Brown) — who happens to be their father," reads the official synopsis.

To make the situation even more uncomfortable, Meester's real-life husband Adam Brody (aka Nobody Wants This' Hot Rabbi) makes a cameo in the trailer when his character mistakes Lou and Henry for a married couple, much to their horror.

The eight-episode Good Cop/Bad Cop is created by John Quaintance (Reboot, Will & Grace), with Jeff Wachtel (Murder in a Small Town), director Trent O'Donnell (Ghosts) and Chloe Rickard (No Activity) serving as executive producers. The series is a co-production between The CW, The Roku Channel, Australia's Stan and ITV Studios.

In addition to Good Cop/Bad Cop, Meester also has Apple TV+'s The Buccaneers on the docket, with the actress joining the series in an undisclosed role for Season 2.
