NCIS Trailer: Parker Is Behind Bars... And Are Sparks Flying Between Torres And Jessica?

Parker's anger about his dad's murder may have led him to the wrong side of the law on NCIS.

CBS has released a trailer for the long-running drama's upcoming Season 23 — premiering Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 8/7c — and in it, Parker finds himself in a holding cell in the aftermath of discovering his father's dead body in the season finale. He tells Vance, "I'm trying to make things right," and apparently, that involves going after crime boss Carla with guns a-blazing. "If you want to catch her, you don't follow the book," Parker declares. "You flip the table."

He and the NCIS team do some major flipping, too, pounding on doors and firing off a few rounds as Kasie quips that they're charging in with "just emotional baggage and bravado." We see some hand-to-hand combat, too — was that McGee we spotted throwing a vicious elbow? — and some romantic sparks as well, as Torres grumbles when Jessica catches the eye of another guy. "Jealousy is a natural response from mere mortals," she playfully tells Torres... but are these two actually going to become an item, after her past with Jimmy, and his with Jessica's sister Robin?
