The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives Season 2 Trailer Promises Fresh Drama And More Sexy Secrets — Watch
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives... well, they're not so secret anymore.
Hulu has dropped the official trailer for Season 2 of the reality hit, debuting Thursday, May 15 with all 10 episodes. In the trailer (which you can watch below), the #MomTok ladies all deal with the sudden rush of fame from the show, "but it's a double-edged sword," one of them admits. Yeah, about that...
We see Jen in tears as she tries to mend fences with her husband Zac, but it doesn't get off to a great start: When he asks for a hug, she offers him a handshake instead. (He also has to watch while she gets a lapdance right in front of him.) Ostracized group member Whitney tries to get back into the fold, but Mikayla isn't buying it: "Everything feels kind of fake about it." Plus, a girl named Miranda — who was involved in the original swinging scandal with Taylor — shows up to "set the record straight," Taylor is worried about her boyfriend Dakota's sobriety, a testosterone-fueled standoff between two dudes ends with the cops being called... and Jen hints that "things went down in Italy at Vanderpump Villa" that led to a cease-and-desist order?!
Debuting last September with an 8-episode freshman season, Mormon Wives became Hulu's most-watched unscripted series of the year, beating out perennial hits like The Kardashians. It did so well that ABC decided to re-air Season 1 this spring on Monday nights, following The Bachelor.
In Season 2, "the scandalous world of Mormon #MomTok is back and bigger than ever!" per the official synopsis. "When an original swinger from their infamous sex scandal makes a surprise return, friendships threaten to unravel as secrets, lies, and allegations explode. In a battle for the soul of #MomTok, will betrayal shatter the sisterhood, or will the truth set them free?"
