Stranger Things' Goosebump-Inducing Season 5 Trailer All But Screams, 'This Will Be Worth The Wait'
Our patience when it comes to the fifth and final season of Stranger Things has finally paid off: On Wednesday, Netflix dropped the epic trailer for the last eight episodes of the Duffer Brothers' 1980s-set genre-bender. And arguably the best word to describe the teaser is... wow. (See for yourself below.)
The series has traveled a hella long road to reach the beginning of its ending. You'll recall that production was delayed for more than seven months by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Finally, in May of 2025, the streamer announced that Volume 1 of Season 5 will stream on November 26, Volume 2 on Christmas Day and the finale on New Year's Eve. (Each volume becomes available at 8/7c on the date indicated.)

Of course, already we've gleaned as much intel on Stranger Things' sendoff as we possibly could, from which actors are returning and which aren't (#JusticeForArgyle) to Season 1 throwbacks and a certain Cloverfield Lane connection. You can read up on all of that in the below photo gallery.

And, should you happen to need a refresher on where Season 4 left us — it has been a minute — you can jog your memory with our recaps of both Part 1 and Part 2.
If you're fully up to speed, check out the trailer for Season 5 by pressing PLAY on the video at the top of this post. Then, by all means, hit the comments. Is there a better word to describe it than "wow"?
