The Four Seasons: A Freshly Divorced Steve Carell Dates A Much Younger Woman In Trailer For Netflix Comedy

Spring, summer, fall, winter: There's no good time, really, to tell your friends you're getting a divorce.

Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming comedy The Four Seasons, debuting Thursday, May 1 with an all-star cast led by Tina Fey, Will Forte and Steve Carell. In the trailer, which you can watch below, we meet a tight-knit group of old friends who go on picturesque getaways together and marvel at how they've stayed so close — except for Carell's character Nick, who's plotting to divorce his wife. Nick ends up dating a much younger girl who inspires him to consider a trip to Burning Man... and Forte's character Jack gets nauseous at the very idea of it.

"Six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up," per the official synopsis. "Over the course of a year, we follow the friends on four vacations, and watch how this shake-up affects everyone's dynamic — sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface."

Fey serves as co-creator of the series, based on the 1981 Alan Alda film of the same name, along with fellow 30 Rock vets Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield. The cast also includes Colman Domingo (Euphoria), Kerri Kenney-Silver (Reno 911!), Marco Calvani (Borgia) and Erika Henningsen (Girls5eva).
