TWD: Daryl Dixon's Explosive Season 3 Trailer Tasks Our Heroes With Killing A Villainous King
Amid the big Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon news out of San Diego Comic-Con — the spinoff was both renewed and cancelled (more on that here) — AMC also dropped the full-length trailer for Season 3, which premieres Sunday, Sept. 7, at 9/8c.
As you'll see above, our heroes Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) are no longer in France but at first in the UK, where they make the acquaintance of "the last Englishman in England," played by Stephen Merchant (who co-created The Office with Ricky Gervais and starred in HBO's short-lived Hello Ladies). Alas, the trio's boating expedition appears to leave them shipwrecked — and no, Carol, not in Maine but Spain.
Per the official logline for Season 3, Daryl and Carol... Well, you know what they do, don't you? They keep on keeping on, kicking ass and taking names as they venture forth on the scenic route home to the Commonwealth and their loved ones.
Oh, and as that trailer teases, they try to kill the next king of Spain while they're at it!
"It has been the thrill of a lifetime to shoot this part of Daryl and Carol's adventure together in Europe," said McBride in a statement. "There is still so much story left to tell and so much for the fans to look forward to."
