Showtimes for September 17, 2014

ET

Making a Scene With James Franco

AOL Originals

Series premiere, first three episodes: In this new series, the titular multi-hyphenate collaborates with his creative team and fellow actors to produce one-of-a-kind reimaginings of classic big-screen moments.

ET

America's Got Talent

NBC

Season finale, two hours: Guests/performers include Pitbull (of course), Travis Barker, Jennifer Hudson, Lenny Kravitz, Cyndi Lauper, Train and a surprise someone to assist Mat Franco with a special illusion.

Big Brother

CBS

Who is next to be evicted, and thus not make the Final 3? (Hey, TVLine's Rebecca Iannucci, we're asking you!)

Hell's Kitchen

Fox

The team that most successfully completes the recipes printed on the back of their jackets will win a day flying across Venice Beach.

ET

The 100

The CW

Repeat to Revisit: With an eye on the Season 2 premiere (airing Oct. 22), flash back to the dystopian drama's game-changing freshman finale.

Legends

TNT

In the aftermath of last week's shootout, the mysterious Verax Corporation sends hitmen to retrieve Kyle Dobson, forcing Martin to take his prisoner on the run.

Red Band Society

Fox

Series premiere: Fronted by Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer, this Fault in Our Stars-meets-Breakfast Club dramedy follows a group of young patients/unlikely friends, and the adults who mentor them, during their time at a shiny L.A. hospital. Manipulative, but good.

Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse

OWN

Fall premiere: Marcus accidentally takes canine fertility pills (ooh, that sounds ruff); Angela can only handle so much sex.

ET

Extant

CBS

Season finale: Molly returns to space in a bid to protect Earth from the deadly spores, while John discovers that Odin's plan has put Ethan in terrible danger.
NEXT WEDNESDAY: ABC's The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, black-ish and Nashville, CBS' Survivor, NBC's Law & Order: SVU and Chicago P.D. and Comedy Central's South Park and Key & Peele all premiere, while Big Brother airs its finale.

The Mysteries of Laura

NBC

Special preview: Debra Messing stars as a cop who struggles to balance her job with her home life, which includes bratty twins and a soon-to-be-ex (Josh Lucas). Watch for the early scene where Laura takes a highly risky shot while not looking anywhere near her gun's sight! Really, the #WCW promos are the best thing about this quite "meh" show (which starting next Wednesday airs at 8/7c.)
