Lucky Trailer: Anya Taylor-Joy Is A Woman On The Run After One Twisted Heist — Watch And Get Release Date
Anya Taylor-Joy's "Lucky" is on the run from some dangerous people, as seen in the newly released full trailer released by Apple TV Wednesday.
The series (which debuts Wednesday, July 15 on the streamer) is based on the New York Times bestselling novel and Reese's Book Club pick of the same name by Marissa Stapley. Taylor-Joy plays the titular Lucky, with Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor taking on FBI Agent Billie Rand, a woman who's tracking Lucky's every move.
Per its official description: "When a multi-million-dollar heist goes sideways, con artist Lucky is forced to go on the run. Pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, Lucky must fight for her life — and a way out."
In the trailer (watch it above), we get our first look at Lucky, a woman who's dealing with a "series of bad decisions" she's made over time. There's loads of action, including high-speed chases, flipped cars, and just a wee bit of arson.
Joining Taylor-Joy and Ellis-Taylor are Annette Bening ("Apple Never Fall"), Timothy Olyphant ("Alien: Earth"), Drew Starkey ("Outer Banks"), Clifton Collins Jr. ("Westworld"), and William Fichtner ("Prison Break").
