American Ninja Warrior Renewed For 2 More Seasons At NBC — Including A Summer Of Champions

NBC has locked in summertime staple "American Ninja Warrior" for two more cycles, renewing the obstacle course competition for Seasons 19 and 20, TVLine has learned.

What's more, the network has confirmed that the milestone 20th season will celebrate the sport's inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games with a special "Summer of Champions," featuring former Olympians and elite ninja champions from more than 15 countries around the world.

But first, Season 19 will air in 2027 and feature the return of Mt. Midoriyama.

Production on Seasons 19 and 20 will commence before year's end, with all rounds of the competition filming in Las Vegas.

The "American Ninja Warrior" renewal news follows the Season 18 finale, which aired August 31 and saw 20-year-old New Jersey native Josiah Pippel walk away with the championship and a $250,000 grand prize.

Pippel made his "ANW" debut at just 15 years old and has reached the National Finals in each of his six seasons. This time around, he powered through five consecutive head-to-head victories, besting a group of competitors that included defending champ Kai Beckstrand.

The finale also saw 18-year-old Taylor Greene retain her Women's Champion crown. After facing Isabella Folsom in the final race, Greene emerged victorious for the second year in a row — a first for a female competitor in "American Ninja Warrior" history.
