Casting News: The Testaments Season 2 Adds 2, Diane Lane's Hulu Thriller, And More

"The Testaments" is adding a pair of familiar faces to Season 2: Deborah Ann Woll ("Daredevil") and Emmy winner Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel") have boarded the Hulu drama in guest-starring roles, Deadline reports.

Woll will play Sylvia, "whose work as a seamstress keeps her in close proximity to the Wives and daughters of Gilead's Commanders," while Kirby will play Commander Fletcher, "who lives as a recluse on a farm in one of Gilead's Colonies, where his eccentricities have made it difficult to find a wife." (Woll's casting comes after word that Disney+'s "Daredevil: Born Again" will end with Season 3.)

As previously reported, Charlie Carrick, who recurred as Commander Judd in Season 1, has been promoted to series regular, while newcomer Haley Wong will play the "dutiful and pregnant" Prudence. A Season 2 premiere date has not yet been announced.

• Diane Lane has joined Li Jun Li in Hulu's upcoming thriller "Victoria." The limited series stars Li as Maxine Tao, "a brilliant con artist who finds herself in a dark web of power, luxury, and the crosshairs of a seductive killer who knows her secrets." According to Deadline, Lane will play Lee Calloway, "a savvy venture capitalist accustomed to getting what she wants and has worked too hard to let anyone stand between her and the win."
• Prime Video's "The Challenger" miniseries has added six recurring guest stars, per Deadline: William Fichtner ("Lucky") as Nobel physicist Richard Feynman; Kevin Carroll ("Widow's Bay") as fellow physicist Professor Arthur Walker; Eric Lange ("Lucky") as Gen. Donald Kutyna; Adelaide Clemens ("R.J. Decker") as NASA astronaut Rhea Seddon; Louisa Jacobson ("The Gilded Age") as Tam O'Shaughnessy, partner of Kristen Stewart's astronaut and physicist Sally Ride; and Hunter Burke ("Sweet Magnolias") as astronaut Steve Hawley.
• Netflix has ordered "Celebrity Million Dollar Secret," a celebrity spin-off of "Million Dollar Secret" set to premiere in 2027. The new series will feature 13 public figures competing in the game of deception: Adam Rippon (Olympian), Adam Scherr (pro wrestling icon), Brianna LaPaglia (podcaster), Bridget Everett ("Somebody Somewhere"), Chelley Bissainthe ("Love, Songs"), Chloe Veitch ("Too Hot to Handle"), Chris Redd ("Saturday Night Live"), Christine Quinn ("Selling Sunset"), David Arquette ("Scarpetta"), Dom Gabriel ("Perfect Match"), Melora Hardin ("The Office"), Phoebe Robinson ("2 Dope Queens"), and West Wilson ("Summer House"). Peter Serafinowicz will return as host.
