The "NCIS" franchise expanded when "NCIS: New York" joined the lineup of police procedurals and premiered in October 2026. While the CBS series features a familiar face in LL Cool J's NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna, it also introduces newcomers to the Big Apple's team. Among them is NCIS Special Agent Wyatt Sellers, played by Shane Harper, who broke out on the Disney Channel sitcom "Good Luck Charlie," which aired from 2010 to 2014.

Harper played Spencer Walsh, the longtime love interest of Teddy Duncan (Bridgit Mendler). His character appeared throughout the show's four seasons, totaling 28 episodes.

Before "Good Luck Charlie," Harper made minor appearances on other Disney Channel properties. He was a principal dancer in the 2007 TV movie "High School Musical 2," which allowed him to showcase his extensive dance training. He also appeared in an episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place."

Shane Harper married his Good Luck Charlie co-star

"Good Luck Charlie" may have marked the end of Shane Harper's time on Disney Channel, but he maintains a personal connection to the show. The "NCIS: New York" star is married to Samantha Boscarino, who also had a recurring role on "Good Luck Charlie." Boscarino played Skyler, a friend of Teddy's and the endgame love interest of Teddy's brother, PJ Duncan (Jason Dolley). Harper and Boscarino's characters also had a brief romance on the sitcom.

The couple has largely kept their relationship private and did not publicly announce their wedding. In November 2025, Harper's representative confirmed that the two actors were married.

Harper also starred as Vic Flynn in the Starz series "Power Book IV: Force," where he reunited onscreen with Boscarino. Their characters became romantically involved during Boscarino's eight-episode run in Season 3.
