Daytime Emmys 2025: Here's Why Beyond The Gates Isn't Eligible To Be Nominated... Yet

If you're a fan of CBS' Beyond the Gates, you may be excited to find out which of Fairmont Crest's finest will have their names read aloud when nominations for the 2025 Daytime Emmys are announced. Here's a tip: don't be.

Unfortunately, neither Beyond the Gates nor any of its cast members are eligible to be nominated this time around, as the eligibility period fell between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2024. Beyond the Gates didn't premiere until Feb. 24, 2025, which puts it nearly two full months past the cut-off mark. The performances you're currently watching (weekdays at 2/1c on CBS) will be eligible for next year's Daytime Emmys.

Though the full list of nominees will be formally announced Thursday at 12 pm, several select categories are being revealed Wednesday night on Entertainment Tonight, Extra, Access Hollywood and E! News. The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 17 in Pasadena, Calif.

But just because none of the Duprees, Hamiltons, Hawthornes, Richardsons or Thomases are eligible, that doesn't mean the cast of Beyond the Gates isn't delivering award-worthy performances.
