Brilliant Minds Season 2: Laura Vandervoort, Porsha Williams And Others To Guest-Star

The prognosis for Brilliant Minds Season 2 is "an acute case of familiar guest stars."

TVLine has learned that NBC's Zachary Quinto-led medical will open its sophomore run with appearances by Laura Vandervoort (Bitten, Smallville), Porsha Williams (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Molly Bernard (Younger, Chicago Med) and Connor Tomlinson (Love on the Spectrum U.S.).

Vandervoort and Williams will both guest-star in the Season 2 premiere, respectively playing Cynthia, a mother of two whose MMA fighter husband starts experiencing strange symptoms, and Bitsy, a real housewife of the Upper West Side who knows all the gossip about everyone (including every medical board member in New York City).

Bernard will appear in Episode 2 as Lauren, a young professional who finds herself in her worst nightmare — experiencing a mental health crisis while filming a reality-TV dating show, with "everyone watching."

Tomlinson, meanwhile, will guest-star in Episode 3 as Tom, a group home resident who has an affinity for the spy genre and crosses paths with the Bronx General doctors while they're out investigating a medical mystery.

Brilliant Minds Season 2 premieres Monday, Sept. 22 at 10/9c, once again leading out of The Voice.
