Lindsay Lohan To Star In Count My Lies Thriller Adaptation From This Is Us Co-Showrunners

Lindsay Lohan will be keeping big ol' secrets as a star of Count My Lies, a thriller adaptation now in development at Hulu and hailing from former This Is Us co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

Adapted from Sophie Stava's recently released debut novel — a mystery thriller and GMA Book Club Pick — Count My Lies follows Sloane, a young woman who with one simple but well-timed lie becomes the nanny for the wealthy and privileged Jay and Violet Lockhart.

Jay and Violet are described as "the perfect New York couple, with a brownstone, a daughter in private school, and summers on Block Island."

But as Sloane makes camp within the Lockharts' home, it becomes evident that isn't the only one lying, and all that's picture-perfect with her well-heeled employers conceals a much more dangerous truth.

As first reported by our sister site Deadline, Lohan is set to play Violet Lockhart, as well as serve as an executive producer on the prospective series alongside Aptaker, Berger and Scott Morgan.

If ordered to series, Count My Lies would mark Lohan's first starring TV role. Previously as an actress on the small screen, she has guest-starred on 2 Broke Girls, Anger Management, Glee, Ugly Betty and a few other shows, and (if we are going way back) recurred on Another World.
