Casting News: Shark Tank Reels In Chip & Joanna, Traitors Champ Hosts Dating Show And More
ABC's Shark Tank this season will welcome a pair of fixer-uppers.
New guest sharks poised to make a splash during Season 17 include Chip and Joanna Gaines, the HGTV superstars who went on to create the media brand Magnolia; Michael Strahan, GMA co-anchor and SMAC co-founder; poppi founder Allison Ellsworth; Reddit co-founder/venture capitalist Alexis Ohanian; and Uncle Nearest founder Fawn Weaver.
Returning guest sharks, meanwhile, include Kendra Scott (founder of Kendra Scott) and Rashaun Williams (venture capitalist and Atlanta Falcons LP).
The guest sharks will appear throughout Season 17 alongside Barbara Corcoran, real estate mogul; Lori Greiner, CPG investor and inventor; Robert Herjavec, cyber security innovator; Daymond John, fashion and branding expert; Daniel Lubetzky, founder of KIND Snacks, Camino Partners and Builders; and Kevin O'Leary, venture capitalist.
Reminder, Shark Tank this fall will air on a new night, Wednesdays at 10/9c.

* Netflix's Trinity — about a heroic Naval Officer (played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw) who becomes involved with the Secretary of Defense (Richard Madden), only to discover he may be at the heart of a dangerous conspiracy — has added to its cast Bruce Greenwood (The Resident), Robert Wisdom (Prison Break), Kirk Acevedo (Lioness), Ben Cotton (When Calls the Heart), James Remar (Dexter), Jason Ralph (The Magicians) and Mark O'Brien (61st Street).
* Weruche Opia (I May Destroy You, Genius: MLK/X) has boarded RJ Decker, ABC's drama pilot starring Scott Speedman. Per Deadline, Opia will fill the potentially series regular role of a corrupt senator's unpredictable daughter.
* Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead: Dead City) and Jay Duplass (Industry) will recur on Sterling Point, Prime Video's upcoming YA series.
* Gabby Windey — a winner of The Traitors Season 3, and a DWTS/Bachelor Nation alum — has been tapped to host Love Overboard, Hulu's luxury yacht-set dating series setting sail in 2026.
* Prime Video's new viking drama Bloodaxe has added to its cast Rune Temte (Time Bandits), Rod Hallett (Casualty), Sisse Marie (Rebel Moon), Karlis Arnolds Avots (Soviet Jeans), Alina Tomnikov (The Paradise) and Jesper Christensen (Faithless).
