Casting News: Lisa Kudrow's Son Joins The Comeback, St. Denis Medical Admits Kristen Schaal And More
HBO's revival of The Comeback just became a family affair, TVLine has learned. Several recurring cast members have been added to the show, including star Lisa Kudrow's real-life son Julian Stern, who will be making his on-screen TV debut.
Additional recurring cast members include Abbi Jacobson (Broad City), John Early (The Great North), Barry Shabaka Henley (Bob Hearts Abishola), Tony Macht (Dying for Sex), Brittany O'Grady (The White Lotus) and Zane Phillips (Legacies).
Details about their characters have not been released. The Comeback, whose first two seasons aired in 2005 and 2014, will return for its third and final season sometime in 2026.

* NBC's St. Denis Medical has announced seven guest stars for its upcoming second season, TVLine has learned: Kristen Schaal (Bob's Burgers) as Ashley, a sci-fi fan who romances a member of the team; Lauren Weedman (Hacks) as Pam, a retired nurse who returns when the hospital is understaffed; Frankie Quiñones (What We Do in the Shadows) as Leslie, a security guard all the good gossip; Lauren Lapkus (Good Girls) and Tim Baltz (The Righteous Gemstones) as a couple who is rushed to the ER after a gender reveal party disaster; Jonah Beckett (The Sex Lives of College Girls) as Kyle, a college student admitted with a strange illness; and Jeremiah Brown (Love Island USA) as Jeff, Kyle's Ultimate Frisbee-playing roommate. Season 2 premieres Monday, Nov. 3 at 8/7c with two episodes.
* Netflix has announced the full cast of Quinn Shephard's coming-of-age thriller The Body, in which a dance team initiation gone wrong leads a group of girls to have visions of the future, plunging their small town into chaos. Series regulars include Kristina Bogic (Playing Gracie Darling), Sara Boustany (PEN15), Geena Meszaros (Wayward), Nnamdi Asomugha (When the Streetlights Go On), Louisa Krause (Ray Donovan), Shirley Chen (The Resident), Jackson Kelly (The Pitt) and Sofia Wylie (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series).
* Prime Video's Biblical drama series Joseph of Egypt has added six recurring cast members, Deadline reports: Alexa Mansour (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) as Asenath, Shila Ommi (Tehran) as Senebsen, Christopher Maleki (Law & Order: Organized Crime) as Potiphar, Alonso Rappa (Dark Winds) as Benjamin, Johnny Visotcky (NCIS: Origins) as Zebulun and Jay Abdo (SEAL Team) as Bastis. A premiere date is not yet known.
* Chicago Med has cast Gbenga Akinnagbe (The Wire) as David, the eldest son of S. Epatha Merkerson's Sharon Goodwin, TV Insider reports. He makes his first appearance in Episode 6.
