Tristan Rogers' Final Y&R Appearance As Colin Atkinson Will Air This Week
The late Tristan Rogers' final performance is still to come.
CBS on Monday announced that Rogers will make his last appearance as The Young & the Restless' Colin Atkinson on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 12:30 pm.
The announcement was made by Rogers' Y&R co-star, Jess Walton (aka Jill), in a video shared to social media.
"Tristan Rogers was a respected member of the soap opera community, and he was a beloved member of The Young & The Restless family," her tribute begins. "I had the pleasure of being his scene partner for many years. I adored working with him."
Her kind words precede a classic Colin and Jill scene. Meanwhile, in reference to the scene at hand, the caption for the post reads: "We are reminded of the lasting impact Tristan brought to our show, both on and off screen. He will forever be missed."
Rogers died Aug. 15 at the age of 79, just one month after the Daytime Emmy winner announced that he'd been diagnosed with lung cancer. Tributes have since poured in from the likes of General Hospital vets Finola Hughes, Kimberly McCullough and Anthony Geary.
His final GH appearance as Robert Scorpio aired in July.
