Emmys 2025 Poll: Who Should Win For Lead Actress In A Drama Series?

The rumor is true: None of last year's Lead Actress in a Drama Series contenders are in the running this go 'round, so it's virtually impossible for 2025 to be a repeat of 2024. 

That's not to say there's a great deal of suspense surrounding this category, because there most definitely is not. You see, the eventual winner is about as fait accompli-sh as they come. Basically, the trophy is Kathy Bates' to lose. (Fun fact: Should the Matlock star prevail on Sept. 14, she will become the oldest Lead Drama Actress winner in Emmy history.)
