The Masked Singer's Donut Revealed? All Clues Point To One Classic TV Star
Some Masked Singer contestants earn our attention with their moving backstories. Others intrigue us with their unexpected vocal prowess. But only a few, including the sugary confection we're discussing right now, are able to do both.
Donut returns to the stage on Wednesday (Fox, 8/7c), where he'll face off against fellow Group C members Anteater and Candelabra. And while we're eager to confirm our suspicions about which celebrities are under all three masks, it's Donut about whom we feel most positive.

Based on the clues provided during the two episodes in which he has appeared thus far, coupled with country vocals that can't be denied, we're pretty confident that Donut is none other than... former Dukes of Hazzard and Smallville star John Schneider.
The most obvious clue is that Donut recently lost the love of his life, the woman he called "my smile." Schneider's wife Alicia Allain, with whom he owned a production studio (another Donut clue!), died in 2023. And what did Schneider call Allain in his touching social media tribute post? Why, "my beautiful smile," of course.
It's worth mentioning that Schneider is also an accomplished recording artist. He has released nine studio albums since 1981, including several successful country music projects.
