Grey's Anatomy Cast Teases 'Tragically Sparkly' Episode 200, Reveals All-Time Fave Storylines

KEVIN MCKIDD

Kevin McKidd

ON TAP FOR 200 | "The hospital's broke because the insurance claim for the storm hasn't come through in time, so against his better judgment, Owen and Jackson are sort of going, 'How are we going to keep this place going, keep the lights on?' And they come up with a cunning plan to throw a gala and hopefully charm the pants off some billionaire. But it's interesting because while these two are brilliant surgeons, they're maybe not the best party organizers, so things take a really interesting turn and maybe it doesn't go as well as it's meant to!"

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "There were a few episodes in Season 5 where Owen was strangling [Cristina, during a PTSD nightmare]. I also think the Iraq episode ["Suicide is Painless," Season 6] was a defining episode for Owen."

SANDRA OH

Sandra Oh

ON TAP FOR 200 | "There is a big fundraiser, and Cristina kind of gets a hit of how it used to be when they were all interns and fighting. Basically, they're trying to see who can raise the most money, but there's also a vintage Cristina moment that she has with Alex, where she's just going on about how great she is. She's also in the fight to see who raises the most money, and the end of it, something comes up that makes her realize that there are consequences to her decisions. How about that for vague?"

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "I kind of have to come up with a bunch of moments, because honestly, I can't even tell you, there are so many storylines. I thought our Season 6 finale with the shooter was really, really good. And I really, really remember the moment when Meredith cuts Cristina out of the wedding dress. And then I remember a couple of key acting scenes with Kevin McKidd as Owen."

JUSTIN CHAMBERS

Justin Chambers

ON TAP FOR 200 | As previously reported, "Somebody from Alex's past is coming to visit" – the abusive drug addict father who bailed on him as a kid, to be played by James Remar (Dexter). "And there's a mystery to that."

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "What I've been doing the last two years, I think, is great. They're giving Alex some fun stuff to do with Jo, but I also loved all the old stuff with Izzie. It's just been a great ride. It really has."

CAMILLA LUDDINGTON

Camilla Luddington

ON TAP FOR 200 | "Jo is the only intern invited to the gala by Alex, and he does a very bad job of being a good date. He abandons her a lot through it, and there is a complete lack of communication in that episode. So, we see where they really need to work in their relationship. That kind of comes to a head in that episode."

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "I loved getting drunk with Alex at the wedding. That was really fun, because I think it's very rare we get those moments where we see them outside of the hospital. It was really cool to see them be that way and have a fun time together, just letting loose."

JESSICA CAPSHAW

Jessica Capshaw

ON TAP FOR 200 | "There's a lot happening — and there's actually some unexpected comedy coming Arizona's way!"

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "There is a moment when Arizona was still sort of being introduced, where Callie comes to her for advice. Having given her advice, she then walks out the door and without even looking back says, 'Cause I'm right, and I'm awesome.' I always think about that when I play her because I think she really does think she's right all the time, and she really does think she's awesome. And that's actually not a bad thing. I wish that everybody walked around thinking they were right and awesome!"

SARAH DREW, JERRIKA HINTON

Sarah Drew

ON TAP FOR 200 | "April bonds with an unlikely cast member, in a closet. It's nothing sexual, but I bond with an unlikely castmate, and it's very funny. I start at the gala, because we're all at this big gala, and then I wind up back in a closet at the hospital, bonding."

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "I would definitely have to say staring down the barrel of the gun and pleading for my life in Season 6 finale. And then, I'd say the flash mob [marriage] proposal. I mean, I have never had that much fun on a scene, ever."

CHANDRA WILSON, JAMES PICKENS JR., DEBBIE ALLEN

James Pickens Jr.

ON TAP FOR 200 | Dr. Webber "is trying to recover from this electrocution," which he barely survived in the two-hour season opener. "That's the big thing right now, yeah. And it's going to be a long process, at least in terms of TV time."

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "For me, it was the finale several seasons ago where the shooter comes in, the man who takes revenge on his wife's death. He was played by wonderful character actor, Michael O'Neill, and we had this incredible scene where I find him in a room with a gun in one hand and a flask in the other. He's been wounded and he's basically waiting to kill me and I basically say, 'Well, I'm ready to go. This is what I've done. This is my life.... But if you don't want to continue this, there is something you can do about it.' That one sticks out in my mind."

DEBBIE ALLEN, CHANDRA WILSON

Chandra Wilson

ON TAP FOR 200 | "There's the gala going on, so people are getting dressed up, but Bailey doesn't have time to put on Spanx and a dress. She's got things to do at the hospital. So I spend [the episode] dealing with the patients. I don't own the hospital, I don't have anything at stake at the gala, so I take care of the hospital."

ALL-TIME FAVORITE GREY'S MOMENT | "I always say, for Bailey, it's all about the birth and bringing 'the va-jay-jay' into the American vernacular, and then across the world. It was a major thing for the show. It was a gut-busting thing at the table read, it was hilarious to play and it was a really defining moment for Bailey."

GAIUS CHARLES, JERRIKA HINTON

Gaius Charles

ON TAP FOR 200 | "Well, the veteran doctors are out at a fundraising gala, so the interns are running the ER, where we'll see some exciting things. I always say that Grey's Anatomy wouldn't be Grey's Anatomy without either drama, romance, and lives hanging in the balance."

TESSA FERRER, JERRIKA HINTON

Tessa Ferrer

ON TAP FOR 200 | "The interns are taking care of the ER, and with that comes lots of responsibility. We'll see who rises to the occasion and who doesn't."

Jerrika Hinton

ON TAP FOR 200 | "Stephanie is taking charge, kicking ass and taking names, basically. If you thought that you kind of got to see her shine at the end of the premiere, kind of claim her spot in terms of being the voice of reason and be the one who kind of drives the ship, you'll get to see that even more in the 200th."
