One Tree Hill: Where Are They Now?

To commemorate the eighth anniversary of One Tree Hill's series finale, TVLine is checking in with 13 of the show's stars to see what they're up to now — and more importantly, where you can watch them.

Austin Nichols (Julian Baker)

Nichols went from breaking hearts on One Tree Hill to breaking bones on The Walking Dead, playing Spencer Monroe from 2015 to 2016. This was followed by recurring roles on shows like A&E's Bates Motel (2017), NBC's The Village (2019) and Showtime's Ray Donovan (2013–2019).

one-tree-hill-stephen-colletti

Stephen Colletti (Chase Adams)

Since playing Tree Hill's favorite bartender — sorry, bar manager — Colletti has cemented his place in the TV movie world with turns in everything from Lifetime's All About Christmas Eve (2013) to the ominously titled Did I Kill My Mother? (2018). He also recurred on BET/VH1's Hit the Floor (2013–2016).

one-tree-hill-antwon-tanner

Antwon Tanner (Antwon 'Skills' Taylor)

In addition to popping up on shows like TNT's Rizzoli & Isles (2014), EPIX's Get Shorty (2017), ABC's The Rookie (2018) and Netflix's Lucifer (2019), Tanner has regularly appeared on Adult Swim's Black Jesus (2014–2019). He also took part in Lifetime's The Christmas Contract, (2019) playing Danneel Ackles' love interest.

one-tree-hill-robert-buckley

Robert Buckley (Clay Evans)

Buckley's career took a chilling turn after One Tree Hill, with series-regular roles on ABC's short-lived 666 Park Avenue (2012–2013) and The CW's long-lived iZombie (2015–2019). He was also part of Lifetime's The Christmas Contract, playing Hilarie Burton Morgan's love interest.

one-tree-hill-shantel-vansanten

Shantel VanSanten (Quinn James)

Easily one of One Tree Hill's busiest grads, VanSanten moved on with series-regular roles on Fox's Gang Related (2014), The CW's The Messengers (2015) and USA Network's Shooter (2016–2018), as well as recurring roles on The CW's Beauty and the Beast (2013) and The Flash (2015–2016), CBS' Scorpion (2018) and Amazon's The Boys (2019). She currently stars on Apple TV+'s For All Mankind.

one-tree-hill-hilarie-burton

Hilarie Burton Morgan (Peyton Sawyer)

Morgan has pretty much done it all since bidding Tree Hill farewell in 2009. She romanced Matt Bomer on USA Network's White Collar (2010–2013), scrubbed in on ABC's Grey's Anatomy (2013), oversaw human-robot hybrids on CBS' Extant (2015) and kicked some butt on Fox's Lethal Weapon (2016–2017). She has also reunited with several OTH vets in holiday projects like Lifetime's Christmas on the Bayou (2013) and The Christmas Contract (2019). Burton currently appears on NBC's Council of Dads.

one-tree-hill-lee-norris

Lee Norris (Marvin 'Mouth' McFadden)

From one iconic teen show to another, Norris followed up his lengthy run on One Tree Hill with a return to his roots, reprising the role of Minkus from ABC's Boy Meets World on the Disney Channel spinoff Girl Meets World (2014–2017). He also stared down some zombies on AMC's The Walking Dead (2019).

one-tree-hill-chad-michael-murray

Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott)

Murray returned to The CW via Riverdale in 2019 for an eight-episode arc of pure insanity, playing cult leader Edgar Evernever. His other post-Tree Hill TV credits include roles on History's Texas Rising (2015), ABC's Agent Carter (2015–2016), CMT's Sun Records (2016) and Fox's Star (2018–2019). And let's not forget his iconic appearance on Fox's Scream Queens (2015) as Chad Radwell's brother... Brad Radwell!

one-tree-hill-james-lafferty

James Lafferty (Nathan Scott)

Much like Nathan's basketball career, Lafferty has worked steadily in a number of different arenas, appearing on NBC's Crisis (2014), WGN America's Underground (2016), Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House (2018) and Nat Geo's The Right Stuff (2019).

one-tree-hill-danneel-harris-ackles

Danneel Ackles (Rachel Gatina)

After playing a cheerleader-turned-model-turned-Dan Scott's wife (eww!), Ackles popped up on a number of different TV shows — most recently appearing opposite husband Jensen Ackles on The CW's Supernatural (2018–2019).

one-tree-hill-sophia-bush

Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis)

After testing the sitcom waters with CBS' Partners (2012–2013), Bush returned to drama for her next career-defining role, playing Erin Lindsay on NBC's Chicago P.D. (and Fire and Med and Justice, and even Law & Order SVU). After exiting #OneChicago in 2017, Bush made sporadic appearances on shows like The CW's Jane the Virgin (2019), Comedy Central's Drunk History (2019) and NBC's This Is Us (2020). She'll next appear on Love, Victor, an upcoming Disney+ series based on the 2018 gay rom-com Love, Simon.

one-tree-hill-bethany-joy-lenz

Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley James Scott)

Lenz has enjoyed a wild mix of roles in her post-Tree Hill years, recurring on Showtime's Dexter (2013), ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2016) and Grey's Anatomy (2018). She also starred opposite Gina Torres in USA Network's short-lived Suits spinoff Pearson (2019). Lenz most recently appeared in Hallmark Channel's A Valentine's Match and Just My Type (2020).

one-tree-hill-tyler-hilton

Tyler Hilton (Chris Keller)

Along with a starring role on CBS' Extant (2014–2015), Hilton's post-Tree Hill credits include appearances on ABC's Castle (2014) and Fox's Pitch (2016). He also appeared opposite Hilarie Burton Morgan in Lifetime's Christmas on the Bayou (2013) and A Christmas Wish (2019).
