MARIA
Roswell's Maria DeLuca (played by Majandra Delfino, left) was Liz's best friend, always curious about what was really going on between her and Max — until she eventually found out. New Mexico's grown-up Maria (played by Heather Hemmens, right) is now Liz's former bestie-turned-socialite, once again oblivious to all things extraterrestrial.

MICHAEL
Like Roswell's original Michael Guerin (played by Brendan Fehr), New Mexico's version (played by Michael Vlamis, right) is still the bad-boy alien, hardened from a traumatic upbringing.

LIZ
Whereas Roswell's Liz Parker (played by Shiri Appleby, left) was a high school student, New Mexico's Liz Ortecho (played by Jeanine Mason, right) is an all-grown-up biomedical researcher and the daughter of undocumented immigrants.

MAX
No longer a brooding high school student — though still hiding his alien identity from the world... and definitely still brooding — Max Evans (played in the original Roswell by Jason Behr, left) is now a sheriff's deputy (played by Nathan Parsons, right) in his New Mexico hometown.

ISOBEL
In addition to being Max's sister, Roswell's Isabel Evans (played by Katherine Heigl, left) was the most popular girl in school, where she kept her secret from the entire student body. New Mexico's Isobel Evans-Bracken (played by Lily Cowles, right) is more concerned about keeping her secret from her husband Noah, played by Karan Oberoi.

KYLE
An overprotective high school jock (played by Nick Wechsler, left) on Roswell, Kyle Valenti is now a doctor (played by Michael Trevino, right) in New Mexico. But he's still the son of the town sheriff, and his feelings for Liz remain... complicated.
