Teen Wolf's Best And Worst Villains

11. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-the-argents

BEST: Kate and Gerard Argent

I'm not going to lie, I haven't always loved these two. In fact, I wanted them dead pretty early on — and still do. But now that we're approaching the final episode, I can at least appreciate the collective role (however obnoxious) they've played in all of this.

10. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-meredith

WORST: Meredith
(aka 'The Benefactor')

...or math.

9. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-void-stiles

BEST: Void Stiles

Come on, did you really expect anyone else to take the top spot? Stiles' brief trip to the dark side was as harrowing as it was heartbreaking — a performance that solidified Dylan O'Brien as the show's breakout star. (And a TVLine Performer of the Week.)

8. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-peter

BEST: Peter Hale

It's hard to believe, given everything that's transpired in recent years, but there was a time when the pack was terrified of Peter — and for good reason. He also earns extra points for being one of the show's least complex villains; on a show like Teen Wolf, simplicity goes a long way.

7. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-dread-doctors

WORST: The Dread Doctors

Fighting evil shouldn't require this much reading...

6. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-darach

BEST: Jennifer Blake
(aka 'The Darach')

Not only did this stunning creature "help" Lydia discover her inner banshee, but she also captured Derek's heart — albeit for insidious purposes. (Plus, her face may be a damn fright, but that outfit is red. carpet. ready.)

5. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-anuk-ite

WORST: The Anuk-Ite

It's been less than 48 hours since this purple-eyed oaf was officially introduced... and I've already forgotten the two nobodies who fused to create him. (Don't get me wrong, the ability to turn people into stone is a cool party trick — just not cool enough to redeem this Red Skull look-alike.)

4. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-the-mute

BEST: The Mute

He may not have had a long shelf life, but Joseph Gatt infused enough pure horror in The Mute to keep him alive in our hearts (and nightmares) forever.

3. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-desert-wolf

WORST: Corinne
(aka 'The Desert Wolf')

For the record, I love me some Marisol Nichols, and I was really excited to see what adding Malia's mother into the mix could do for Teen Wolf. Unfortunately, she was killed off before any meaningful storyline could develop. (She didn't even get to reunite with her estranged baby daddy!)

2. teen-wolf-best-worst-villains-matt-and-kanima

BEST: Matt and the Kanima

I maintain that Teen Wolf's second season was its best, thanks in large part to its gripping villain story. Not only was I fully invested in the mystery of the kanima's identity (Jackson!), but my heart broke for Matt the more we learned about his tragic backstory.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Before I get to my favorite Teen Wolf villain of all time, how about a round of applause for these guys, huh? I have no strong feelings about them either way, but they'd all make terrific Halloween costumes.
