With James Gunn's Superman flying into theaters this weekend, the world is being introduced to a new Clark Kent (David Corenswet), Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult). And we'd be lying if we said we weren't getting a little nostalgic.

After all, wasn't it just seven months ago that we watched this trio's story play out on the small screen via The CW's Superman & Lois? Heck, it was less than one month ago that TVLine gave the show a "Best Series Finale" honor at our inaugural Best in Broadcast Awards. My, how time... flies.

Fortunately, Elizabeth Tulloch (aka The CW's Lois) has partnered with Milk-Bone in support of its limited-edition Superman-themed dog biscuits — including hosting a dog-friendly screening of the new movie this week in Los Angeles — giving us one more opportunity to discuss all things Superman. And Lois, of course.

For starters, Tulloch is excited to see Krypto, the Man of Steel's iconic four-legged friend, on the big screen for the first time in live-action form. The dog lover also admits that she's disappointed she didn't get to play with Krypto in the Superman & Lois series finale. (Clark did eventually get a dog by that name, but it wasn't until after — spoiler alert! — Lois passed away.)

"I was so bummed, I love dogs!" Tulloch tells TVLine in the video interview above, before segueing into an adorable story about this particular canine's performance in the finale. Let's just say it involves Tyler Hoechlin and a lot of slobbering.
