The TVLine-Up: TV Worth Watching This Friday
On TV this Friday: Nikita must choose between lives or deaths, the Sheen family tree gets shaken, Grimm plays with Hansel and Gretel, the Portlandia po po get a makeover and more. As but a supplement to TVLine's original features, here are nine shows you may want to keep on your radar.
8 pm A Gifted Man (CBS) | Michael saves a man from drowning and learns his identity is a mystery. (My advice: See if the name Jason Bourne rings a bell.) Meanwhile, Kate discovers a girl she mentors has serious issues that she has failed to notice.
8 pm Who Do You Think You Are? (NBC) | Season 3 of the family tree-climbing show kicks off with Martin Sheen (The West Wing).
8 pm Nikita (The CW) | If Amanda doesn't agree to Percy's demands, the Guardians will kill everyone in Oversight and in Division; Nikita is torn between letting the enemy fall and saving lives.
Supernatural's Jared Padalecki on the Loss of Cas and Bobby, Sam's Crumbling State and Season 8
9 pm CSI: NY (CBS) | When a role-playing game turns lethal, one player falls victim to a bona fide killer and another is kidnapped. Control-Alt-Delete! Control-Alt-Delete!
9 pm Fringe (Fox) | Astrid gets an unexpected visit from Alt Astrid; Peter and Olivia track a killer who is using a toxin that has yet to be invented. (Get some scoop!)
9 pm Grimm (NBC) | Nick and Juliette befriend a pair of homeless siblings named (ahem) Hanson (Spy Kids' Daryl Sabara) and Gracie. Seriously, it's gotta be tough playing catch-up with Once Upon a Time.
On Blue Bloods, a Bullet Hits Too Close to Home – Plus, the CBS Drama's Special 9/11 Moment
10 pm 20/20 (ABC) | A special report titled "Hollywed" takes viewers inside the world of celebrity marriage and break-ups, sharing secrets from high-powered divorce attorneys and the stars themselves about what makes a Hollywood marriage work and why it can get so ugly so fast. (Hi, Kim and Kris!) Sounds salacious enough for sweeps.
10 pm Spartacus: Venegance (Starz) | Spartacus and his men liberate a Roman villa; Oenomaus throws himself into the brutal Pits; Glaber supports Lucretia's prophecies, despite Ilithyia's protests.
10 pm Portlandia (IFC) | Fred and Carrie are asked to help make the police force easier on the eyes. Is Step No. 1 shutting down every Dunkin Donuts Voodoo Doughnut shop?
