What will Ghosts scare up for this year's finale? What brings Olivia back to All American? What swoony song did Angus serenade Elsbeth with? Read on for answers to those questions and others! (You can and should email any brand-new Qs to InsideLine@tvline.com.)
Any Ghosts scoop? –Leanne
We have a ways to go until the Season 4 finale, but here's a little something that series lead Rose McIver was able to tease about that episode: "It's bit of a 'Who's who' of Ghostsdom, so as you can imagine, there's a lot of returning faces. I can't tell you exactly what the reason is [for the gathering], but it brings everybody out of the shadows."
What more can we expect from the Irving and Burt situation on Severance? –Josefa
We consulted our Lumon employee handbook to make sure we weren't spoiling too much here, and we can tell you that Episode 6 wasn't the last we'll see of that particular office romance. Irving and Burt's paths do cross again later in Season 2 outside of the confines of the Lumon office — but whether it's as lovers or adversaries, we can't reveal at this point.
The All American showrunner said Samantha Logan returns a few times. When is the exact next episode? –Ed
This much I can share: Olivia will next be seen during the second half of this season — when Jordan needs her the most, the CW drama's producers tell Inside Line.
The Rookie's Tim mentioned to Lucy after their hookup that he's still in her chain of command, so is there anything to tease for Lucy career-wise moving forward? –Emily
It's funny you should ask, given what the exes talk about in the wake of tonight's downright harrowing, intense, wild, I had to pause it several times to catch my breath episode.
When is Celebrity Wheel of Fortune going to premiere its fifth season? They've been advertising it ever since last year, but ABC still hasn't set a new premiere date. –Fiona
I checked on it for ya, and... nope, still no timetable to speak of.
Before you leave Angus in Scotland, could you please tell us what song he sang to Elsbeth? I've seen many others asking this same question. –Lynn
In the wake of popular demand for this one, I can confirm that the song is called "Of Love I'll Never Know," and that guest star Ioan Gruffudd sang all the vocals live on-set (but did not actually play the instrument).
What is the name of the music that plays over the credits after each episode of The Pitt? –R.S.
The song is titled "Fall Forward," co-written by series composer Gavin Brivik and the artist Taji. Expect the tune to be released in time for the already-renewed Max hit's Season 1 finale.
Near the end of Doc Episode 4, there is a song playing that contains the lyrics "In the broken, broken, broken places/We can, we can, we can make it." Do you know the name of that song and who sings it? –Melissa
That song, "Broken Bones" by Lxandra, in fact was played twice in that episode.
Any scoop on The Hunting Party, now that Bex has more and more reason to be suspicious of Odell? –Dee
Regarding Oliver apparently knowing about The Pit's imminent explosion and his hasty download of sensitive intel before hot-footing it out of Dodge, series lead Melissa Roxburgh teased for me, "We learn that he has an alliance, that he's trying to figure out answers... and he did it for a reason that's not as terrible as Bex originally thinks."
Any news on when new seasons of The Gilded Age (Max) and The Morning Show (Apple TV+) will begin? –Jo-Lynn
The Morning Show Season 4 only wrapped filming in December, and The Gilded Age Season 3 in late January. As such, there is no news yet on release timetables for either.
Why haven't we seen Wendy Seager on Chicago Fire? –Arnas
Andy Allo's OFI lieutenant was last seen in March 2023, and under the right (meaning: bad) circumstances, she could put in another appearance. "There's always a chance we will see Wendy Seager, we're a big fan of hers!" says showrunner Andrea Newman. "You never know when the next high level arson case will bring her around..."
Any news on when we can expect new episodes of Resident Alien? –Susan
With production still underway on Season 4 on the Syfy USA Network series, there is no timetable to share at this time.
Any word on when the second half of Children Ruin Everything's fourth season will air on The CW? I know it's been airing in Canada, so hopefully soon? –Kara
All I can say for now is that it will air in 2025, and that you can expect official news very soon.
A few months ago there was some talk online about AEW wrestling talking to Fox about a new show called Shockwave. Anything on that? –Duncan
A Fox Sports insider shrugged that off as "just a rumor," while AEW has yet to get back to me on the potentially new product's status.
Any updates on the Melrose Place revival? –Brian
No updates, but it is still in development, I am assured.
Any White Lotus Season 3 scoop? –Mason
We reached out to Natasha Rothwell, who plays Belinda, to see if her character ever catches on that Greg (er, "Gary") was the guy with Tanya in Season 1... and if she knows what happened to Tanya. "She's looking up what happened, and she's trying to piece it together, and the math ain't mathin'," Rothwell teased with a laugh. "So she knows something's amiss, and it's really cool to see her as a junior sleuth, putting things together and fearing for her life," she adds, noting that series creator Mike White is "so great at putting in that tension."
Did I read that Welcome to Derry is now coming out in 2026? –Martin
I only saw one random tweet (and zero legitimate news stories) out there claiming such, and then confirmed with HBO that the IT prequel series remains on track for a 2025 release.
