School Spirits Season 3: First Look At Milo Manheim's Return, Plus Plot Details And More Revealed

School is back in session — or at least back in production — at Split River High.

Cameras are officially rolling on Season 3 of School Spirits, and while fans were initially concerned that star Milo Manheim wasn't present for the start of production, Paramount+ has eased those concerns with an Instagram post confirming that he's back on set as Wally Clark.

Production on School Spirits Season 3 officially began on July 21, at which point Paramount+ also dropped some early Season 3 intel.

For starters, the season's official logline tells us that Maddie "must face the dangerous mystery behind Split River High School in order to save her best friend who might be lost forever." That best friend, of course, is Maddie's BFF Simon, who found himself in spiritual limbo at the end of Season 2.

"Simon has had access to a world that other people have not," executive producer Oliver Goldstick told TVLine after the finale. "He's aware of another reality besides the one we all see on a daily basis. So we felt like, if you spent this much time trying to save somebody else and you had immersed yourself so deeply into that world, could you be sucked into the vortex of that until you were trapped as well?"

When Does School Spirits Season 3 Premiere?

Though an exact premiere date has yet to be announced, we do know that School Spirits will return to Paramount+ for Season 3 sometime in 2026.

Who's Returning for Season 3?

As you can see in this photo — and the photos in the photo — all of the show's previous series regulars are returning for Season 3: Peyton List as Maddie, Kristian Ventura as Simon, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley, Rainbow Wedell as Claire, Josh Zuckerman as Mr. Martin and Milo Manheim as Wally.

Additionally, Ci Hang Ma (Quinn) and Miles Elliot (Yuri) have been promoted to series regulars.

Who's Joining the Cast in Season 3?

Let's start with the biggie: Jennifer Tilly is (Chucky) shaking things up at Split River High when School Spirits returns to Paramount+ for Season 3 — and thanks to the Academy Award nominee herself, we have a sneak peek at superintendent Dr. Deborah Hunter-Price.

"Look out, Split River High! There's a new bitch in town," Tilly captioned a photo (above) from the show's Vancouver set on Aug. 4, unveiling herself in character for the first time. Maybe it's her crossed arms, or maybe it's just Tilly's trademark glare, but we have a feeling this woman's going to be trouble. And we can't wait to meet her.

And Tilly isn't alone: Season 3 newcomers include Ari Dalbert (Inhumans) as Kyle and Erika Swayze (Accused) as Livia. Specific details about their characters are being kept under wraps... for now.
