Bel-Air To End With Season 4 On Peacock — Watch Announcement
Peacock is extending (and ending) the Fresh Prince's reign, renewing Bel-Air for a fourth and final season.
Executive-produced by Will Smith, Bel-Air is a dramatic reimagining of the iconic '90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, inspired by a short film released by Morgan Cooper.
Bel-Air stars Jabari Banks as Will Smith, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey Thompson, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Simone Joy Jones as Lisa Wilkes, Jordan L. Jones as Jazz and Adrian Holmes as Philip Banks.
The series has also brought back a handful of original Fresh Prince actors in new roles, including Tatyana Ali (Ashley) as English teacher Mrs. Hughes, Daphne Maxwell Reid (Vivian No. 2) as art council board member Janice, Vernee Watson-Johnson (Vy) as board member Helen, and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey) as the mysterious Roman.
Set during a particularly eventful summer, Bel-Air's third season found Will shifting his focus from basketball to business, partnering with Carlton on an exciting new venture — all while Carlton struggled with his own addiction, and a relationship with someone he met in rehab. Meanwhile, Phil and Vivian's marriage faced several external challenges, Hilary's life with fiancé LaMarcus took a few unexpected turns, and Geoffrey's checkered past in London came back to haunt him.
The finale then took the drama to a whole new level with Aunt Viv's unexpected pregnancy (baby Nicky!), Will's kidnapping and the extremely likely death of Lamarcus. (He is the new Trevor, after all.)
Carla Banks Waddles serves as showrunner of Bel-Air, executive-producing alongside Smith, Cooper, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, Andy and Susan Borowitz, Janeika James, and Jasheika James.
