Found Cancelled After Two Seasons On NBC
NBC is losing Found.
The missing persons drama has been cancelled, TVLine has confirmed, and will not return for Season 3.
Season to date, Found is averaging 3.9 million total viewers (with delayed playback), down just 13% from its freshman run. Out of the 11 dramas that NBC has aired this TV season, it ranks No. 9 (outdrawing only the similarly cancelled Suits LA, and Grosse Pointe Garden Society).
Found stars producer Shanola Hampton as Gabi Mosely, a public relations specialist who was once herself a missing person. Season 1 revolved around Gabi's chilling secret, that in the midst of grief, she imprisoned her childhood kidnapper, Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). Season 2 has followed Sir since his escape, and his eventual capture/imprisonment, while also introducing another "stealth" family member of his. Anther major plotline revealed that M&A associate Margaret's (Kelli Williams) long-missing son Jamie has been found.
The series' cast also includes Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta and Karan Oberoi.
In Found's upcoming Season 2 finale — airing Thursday, May 15 at 10/9c, and titled "Missing While Dying" — someone from Dhan's (Oberoi) past resurfaces looking for their missing wife, triggering the security expert's trauma. M&A meanwhile mobilizes to track down one of their own as Gabi barters with her life, and Heather's (Danielle Savre) actions lead to a bold declaration.
