Goosebumps Cancelled At Disney+

The thrills and chills of Goosebumps have officially come to an end: Disney+ has cancelled the horror anthology series after just two seasons, TVLine has confirmed.

Its latest season (subtitled The Vanishing) followed the young siblings of a botany professor (Friends' David Schwimmer) who "discover a threat stirring, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, the duo finds themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994."

In addition to Schwimmer, Season 2 also starred Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Jayden Bartels (Side Hustle), Sam McCarthy (Dead to Me), Elijah M. Cooper (That Girl Lay Lay), Galilea La Salvia (Talia in the Kitchen) and Francesca Noel. The season drew on elements from author R.L. Stine novels such as "Stay Out of the Basement," "The Haunted Car," "Monster Blood," "The Girl Who Cried Monster," "The Ghost Next Door" and "Welcome to Camp Nightmare."

Variety was the first to report the news.
