House Of The Dragon Season 3: Barry Sloane, Tom Cullen Among Latest Castings

House of the Dragon is getting more and more crowded in Season 3.

TVLine has learned that English actor Barry Sloane (Revenge, SIX), Welsh actor Tom Cullen (Knightfall, Downton Abbey) and English actor Joplin Sibtain (aka Andor's Brasso) have boarded the HBO fantasy saga's cast.

Sloane will fill the role of Ser Adrian Redfort, while Cullen and Sibtain will respectively play Ser Luthor Largent and Ser "Bold" Jon Roxton.

Production on the Game of Thrones prequel's third season got underway on March 31, with Emma D'Arcy in full Queen Rhaenyra regalia marking the event in the video below. ("The fight for the Throne is far from over," the caption reads on the cabler's X post.)

A Season 3 premiere date, let alone a trailer, still eludes us.

The latest Season 3 castings join a lot that also includes Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy, Power Book IV: Force) as Ser Roderick Dustin, Dan Fogler (The Goldbergs, the Fantastic Beasts films) as Ser Torrhen Manderly and James Norton (The Nevers, Happy Valley) as Ormund Hightower.

The returning HotD cast includes Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin and Abubakar Salim.

House of the Dragon was renewed for Season 3 in June, ahead of its Season 2 premiere. In a call with journalists after the Season 2 finale, showrunner Ryan Condal said Season 4 would be the fantasy series' final season.
