Lioness Renewed For Season 3 At Paramount+

There'll be a lot more special ops in Lioness' future: Paramount+ has renewed Taylor Sheridan's action drama for Season 3, TVLine has learned.

Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman, both of whom star in and executive-produce the series, will be back for the new season.

Fans will recall that Season 2 ended as the Lioness team went on a mission to stop two Chinese nuclear scientists, who were traveling with the Turkish military, from reaching a nuclear base in Iran. Everything went sideways, there were broken bones and near-death experiences, but at the end of the episode, Saldaña's Joe was able to return home to husband Neal and their daughters. Lioness is the latest of Sheridan's series to have their runs extended at the streamer. Tulsa King recently was renewed for Season 4, ahead of its Season 3 premiere. Landman was renewed for Season 2 in March and will return in November. Mayor of Kingstown, which was renewed in December, will be back in late October. In addition, Yellowstone spinoff The Madison — with a cast including Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams and Kurt Russell — has been ordered to series at Paramount+; the premiere date has not yet been announced.
