Ratings: X Factor Up In Night 2, Rookie Blue Rises With Finale, Quiz Slips Again
The second night of The X Factor's Season 3 premiere on Thursday drew 6.8 million total viewers and a 2.2 demo rating — up 10 percent and a tenth from Wednesday's fast nationals.
Versus Season 2's Night 2, X Factor was off 18 and 29 percent.

If Big Brother's NFL preemption-inflated numbers hold any — per preliminary data, CBS is eying 7.5 mil and a 2.6 — it will again top X Factor in head-to-head competition.
Over on NBC, Night 4 of Ryan Seacrest's Million Second Quiz drew 4.2 mil and a 1.1, down 19 percent and two tenths from Wednesday and now off a full 35 percent from the show's launch.

Rookie Blue's season finale copped 5.7 million viewers and a 1.4, up 40 percent week-to-week and hitting a season-high-demo rating pending any adjustments due to NFL preemptions. (The procedural's year-ago finale did 5.1 mil/1.2.)
A Big Bang Theory repeat reaped the night's biggest audience, with 8.5 million viewers.
