SkyMed follows a team of young medics and pilots who fly air ambulances across the remote skies of Northern Canada. "Weaving together intense journeys with jaw-dropping medical rescues 20,000 feet in the air in the most remote conditions, the new season throws the diverse group of medical responders into all-new challenges on the job and in their personal lives," the official synopsis reads.

Picking up in the aftermath of the drama's 2023 finale, Season 3 finds the SkyMed team faced with a shocking medical emergency for one of its members, and relying on each other more than ever as they experience heart-pulsing rescues, new love and hard goodbyes.

Back for Season 3 as series regulars are Natasha Calis (Nurses) as Hayley, Morgan Holmstrom (Day of the Dead) as Crystal, Praneet Akilla (Nancy Drew) as Chopper, Mercedes Morris (Ghosts) as Lexi, Thomas Elms (The Boys in the Boat) as Nowak, Kheon Clarke (Riverdale) as Tristan and Sydney Kuhne (Ginny & Georgia) as Stef. Additionally, Aaron Ashmore (The Rookie Ginny & Georgia) was upped to series regular, as Wheezer.

Reprising their recurring roles, meanwhile, are "Ace" Aason Nadjiwon (The Twilight Zone) as Bodie and Emilia McCarthy (Zombies) as Madison, with Braeden Clarke (Outlander) returning to guest-star as Jeremy.

New to SkyMed this season are Anthony Grant (V-Wars) as TJ and Nicola Correia-Damude (Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent) as Marianne, both in recurring roles.

SkyMed was created by Julie Puckrin and inspired by her sister and brother-in-law, who met flying air ambulances. Puckrin serves as executive producer along with Gillian Hormel and Vanessa Piazza.
