South Park Creators Apologize For Skipping Another Week: 'This One's On Us, We Didn't Get It Done In Time'

South Park's wonky Season 27 schedule just got even wonkier. Already scheduled to air every other Wednesday on Comedy Central, the show will be skipping tonight's planned new episode because, well, it's not finished yet.

"Apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don't get it done," series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said in a statement. "This one's on us. We didn't get it done in time. Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!"

The remaining episodes of Season 27 are scheduled to air on the following dates: Oct. 15, Oct. 29, Nov. 12 and Nov. 26, with the season finale set for Dec. 10. All episodes will air in the regular 10 pm time slot.

Thus far, only four episodes of South Park Season 27 have aired, targeting the likes President Donald Trump, who's getting the full Saddam Hussein treatment from the Bigger, Longer and Uncut movie; Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, whose melting face became the stuff of viewers' nightmares; the dangers (and annoyances) of A.I.; tariffs; and, of course, Labubus.
