Peacock's The Office Spinoff The Paper Shifts To Binge Release, Will Drop All 10 Episodes At Once
Breaking news: The Paper is adjusting its delivery schedule.
All 10 episodes of Peacock's The Office spinoff will now drop at once on Thursday, Sept. 4, TVLine has learned. A source credits the change to overwhelmingly positive early reaction to the series, allowing viewers to binge it all at once if they so desire.
Originally, The Paper was set to debut on Sept. 4 with the first four episodes, with two episodes airing weekly after that, leading up to a Sept. 25 finale.
Hailing from The Office co-creator Greg Daniels and Michael Koman (Nathan For You), The Paper finds the same documentary crew that followed Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch turning their cameras to an historic Toledo newspaper and its eager new editor-in-chief, played by The Patient's Domhnall Gleeson. The cast also includes Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), Chelsea Frei (The Cleaning Lady), Melvin Gregg (Snowfall), Gbemisola Ikumelo (A League of Their Own), Ramona Young (Never Have I Ever), Tim Key (The Witchfinder), comedian Alex Edelman — and Oscar Nuñez, reprising his role from The Office as former Dunder Mifflin accountant Oscar.
