When Calls The Heart's Erin Krakow Weds Co-Star — See Photos
The heart clearly called for Erin Krakow and co-star Ben Rosenbaum.
Krakow –who leads Hallmark's When Calls the Heart as teacher Elizabeth Thornton née Thatcher (and also serves as an executive producer) — recently tied the knot in real life with Rosenbaum, who since Season 1 has played Coal Valley's ever-handy Mike Hickam.
The newlyweds shared a pair of photos on Instagram — one of a kiss, one posed — accompanied only by an infinity symbol representing (if I must get mushy for a moment) their love.
Many WCTH co-stars and other blue checkmarks were quick to RSVP with replies to the IG post.
"Spectacular," declared Andrea Brooks, who plays Faith on the long-running Hallmark charmer. Kayla Wallace, who plays Fiona, wrote, "I'm still crying. My favourite pairing!"
The newlyweds also reaped well-wishes from Marcus Rosner (who on WCTH plays Charles Kensington), Kevin McGarry (Nathan), Kavan Smith (Leland), Miranda MacDougall (Edie) and When Hope Calls' Morgan Kohan, as well as Nicole Beharie, Tyler Hines, Holly Robinson Peete, Ryan McPartlin, Nancy Travis, Jacklyn Collier, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Morgan Kohan.
When Calls the Heart was renewed for Season 13 in March, to begin filming in July. A premiere date has not yet been set.
"Hearties are far more than a fan-base — they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley," Hallmark Media SVP of Programming Samantha DiPippo said of the latest renewal. "It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond."
