AGT Sneak Peek: Japan's Got Talent Finalist Airfootworks Returns With A Vengeance (Exclusive)
Some of the most memorable acts in America's Got Talent history have come from Japan, and Tuesday's episode (NBC, 8/7c) gives us one more to add to that ever-growing list.
With the final round of Season 19 auditions now upon us, American audiences are about to be introduced to Airfootworks, an act that made it all the way to the finals of Japan's Got Talent Season 1 in 2023.
Founded by Takashi Jonishi, a choreographer and former member of the internationally acclaimed dance crew World Order, Airfootworks is considered "the world's first airdance group." Its mission is to "give people watching it the impression of weightlessness, as if the performer is walking in mid-air."
TVLine has an exclusive sneak peek of Airfootworks' Stateside debut, with a performance set to Justin Bieber's "Where Are Ü Now."
Unfortunately for Airfootworks, there are no more Golden Buzzers left to be smashed as we head into the final round of auditions, which is especially wild when you remember that the judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara — were each given two this season, in addition to one for host Terry Crews.
