All Stars 10 Is The Best Drag Race Season In Years — And It's About To Get Even Better (Exclusive Sneak Peek)
I don't think I'm speaking out of school (specifically Drag U) when I say that RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars has been in desperate need of a shake-up for quite some time, so I'm thrilled to report that the first two weeks of Season 10 have left me feeling, well, shook.
Turning the show into a tournament-style competition, complete with a nerve-wracking point system and endless opportunities for shady gameplay, has lit a different type of fire under these queens, and I'm living for it.
If you've seen the first three episodes, you already know what I'm talking about. From Irene the Alien (a queen I didn't even remember) finally getting to show the world what she's made of, to lit'ral goddess Bosco making anyone with a pulse question their sexuality, All Stars 10 has been a steady stream of unexpected delights. I haven't even been tempted to fast forward through any of the Werk Room scenes — these girls are bringing it.
It feels like we've already been through an entire (very good!) season of Drag Race in just three episodes, and now you're saying we get to do it all over again? Twice?! Sign. Me. Up.
That brings us to Friday's episode, which introduces the six queens of Bracket 2 — Jorgeous, Kerri Colby, Lydia B(utthole) Kollins, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Nicole Paige Brooks and Tina Burner. And if you think you're ready for what's coming... you're not. Get an exclusive first lewk at their entrances below:
I'm pretty sure the ghost of Merle Ginsberg will haunt me if I drop any actual spoilers, so I'll just promise that you've never seen the game played quite like this. Some of these shady queens are about to fully RuVeal themselves, and you'll be guessing about the outcome until the very last moment.
Are you loving All Stars 10 as much as I am? Grade it in the poll below, then drop a comment with your thoughts. Were Irene, Bosco and Aja the right queens to move on from Bracket 1? And which Bracket 2 queens are you most excited to see?
