King Of The Hill Revival Trailer: Hank And Peggy Retire To A 'Changed' Texas, The Daily Show's Ronny Chieng Joins Cast — Watch
The Hills are officially returning to Texas this summer, but as a new trailer for King of the HIll's revival shows, their beloved town has gone through some changes while they've been away.
The animated series' 10-episode revival will premiere Monday, Aug. 4, on Hulu. The continuation picks up 14 years after the animated series ended its original run on Fox.
"After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill," reads the revival's official logline. "Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane."
The show's Season 14 voice cast includes co-creator Mike Judge as Hank Hill, Kathy Najimy as Peggy Hill, Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill, the late Johnny Hardwick as Dale Gribble, Stephen Root as Bill Dauterive and Lauren Tom as Minh and Connie Souphanousinphone. Toby Huss, who voiced Kahn Souphanousinphone and Cotton Hill on the original series, will take over as the voice of Dale once the episodes that Hardwick recorded before his death have aired.
In addition, The Daily Show host Ronny Chieng will voice Kahn, Hank's Laotian neighbor.
In May, Hulu dropped a first look at the opening credits for Season 14, which serves as a recap of what Hank's friends and family have been up to since we last saw them in 2010. So keep your finger on the pause button, because there are plenty of blink-and-you'll-miss-them shots, including glimpses of Hank's stepmom Didi, John Redcorn... and a "Gribble for Mayor" sign?
