TWD: Daryl Dixon Finale Sneak Peek: Daryl Shares A Tender Moment With Carol — Plus, Get A First Look At The Final Season

Daryl Dixon is ready to go home — and to finally stop running.

AMC released a sneak peek at The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon's Season 3 finale (airing Sunday, Oct. 19) at New York Comic Con on Friday, and in it, Daryl and Carol sit alone on a Spanish beach, with Daryl feeling contemplative: "This whole time, I've been trying to get home. Why the f–k did I leave in the first place?" He runs through a list of regrets before noting, "My whole life, I've been running." Carol reassures him he did what he had to do to survive, but Daryl thinks running has become a "bad habit" for him — and he's afraid he can't stop running after all this time. AMC also gave us a first look at the fourth and final season of Daryl Dixon, with star Norman Reedus playfully welcoming us to the set in Spain and introducing a Carol stunt double as his co-star Melissa McBride. (Don't worry: We get to see the real Melissa, too.) But if they're still shooting in Spain in Season 4, does this mean Daryl and Carol don't sail away to America at the end of this season like they were hoping? Well, we should know better by now than to hope for anything good to happen on a Walking Dead show.

Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon airs Sundays at 9/8c on AMC. After you watch the videos above, tell us in the comments what you're hoping to see in the season's final two episodes, and beyond.
