Fountain Of Youth: John Krasinski And Natalie Portman Seek Immortality In New Apple Movie Trailer — Watch
Move over, Indiana Jones. John Krasinski's hunting the stuff of legend.
In Apple TV+'s forthcoming film Fountain of Youth (which releases on the streamer Friday, May 23), The Office star is part of a duo of estranged siblings (alongside Natalie Portman) that partners up for a global heist to track down the titular mythical spring. Reads the official description: "They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives... and possibly lead to immortality."
In the trailer released Wednesday (watch it below), Krasinski and Portman become two at-odds globetrotters as they battle bad guys, engage in high-speed car chases and survive the world's most treacherous climates, all in hopes of finding a "magical pool of water" at the end of their journey. (Feels rather Raiders of the Lost Ark meets National Treasure, doesn't it?)
The cast also includes Eiza González (3 Body Problem), Domhnall Gleeson (The Patient), Arian Moayed (Succession), Laz Alonso (The Boys), Carmen Ejogo (The Penguin) and Stanley Tucci (Feud: Bette and Joan).
The movie is directed by Guy Ritchie (MobLand, Snatch) and written by James Vanderbilt (Scream VI, Zodiac). Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, Jake Myers and Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Chad Villella and Tara Farney) serve as executive producers.
