Frankenstein: Oscar Isaac Brings Jacob Elordi To Life In Electrifying Trailer For Guillermo Del Toro's Netflix Movie
It... is... live! On YouTube! Meaning, the trailer for Netflix's upcoming Frankenstein movie from horror master Guillermo del Toro.
Written and directed by del Toro and due for a November premiere, the adaptation of Mary Shelley's beloved 1818 Gothic novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus tells the classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight) stars as Victor Frankenstein and 6-foot-5 Jacob Elordi (Euphoria) plays "The Creature," heading up a cast that also includes Mia Goth (Pearl) as Victor's fiancée Elizabeth Lavenza, Felix Kammerer (Pagan Peak) as William and Lars Mikkelsen (Ahsoka) as Captain Anderson.
Additionally, David Bradley (The Strain) is cast as the blind man, Charles Dance (2015's Victor Frankenstein) fills an undisclosed role, Christoph Waltz (The Consultant) plays Harlander, and Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth) is a young Victor Frankenstein — not to be confused with Young Frankenstein, (pronounced Frahnk-en-steen).
