My Adventures With Superman Sets Season 2 Premiere — Lex Luthor And Supergirl Arrive In Explosive Trailer

Room for two more? Adult Swim has released the official trailer for Season 2 of My Adventures With Superman, and it welcomes a pair of iconic DC characters — Lex Luthor and Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl.

The anime-style series returns with back-to-back episodes on Saturday, May 25 at midnight. The show will then air once weekly on Saturdays, with new episodes available to stream Sundays on Max.

According to the network, here's what we can expect from Season 2: "Powerful foes will emerge from Clark's alien past, Amanda Waller will take aim at Superman, Lois will grapple with the future and Jimmy Olsen will spend an unbelievable amount of money. Krypton is coming for our young heroes, and its arrival will test their strength, loyalty and love like never before."

The show's 10-episode first season ended with a romantic, explosive Thanksgiving for new couple Lois and Clark, which found them both fighting against her father. The finale ended with a particularly sinister-seeming character receiving word about the trouble Superman gave their ships on Earth. "Let them rebel," the nefarious figure replied. "It does not matter. In the end, they will kneel."

My Adventures With Superman's voice cast includes Jack Quaid (The Boys) as Clark Kent/the Man of Steel, Alice Lee (Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist) as Lois Lane and Ishmel Sahid (Jury Duty) as Jimmy Olsen.

Jake Wyatt (Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus) and Brendan Clogher (Voltron: Legendary Defender) serve as showrunners and co-executive producers, with Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) on board as an executive producer and Josie Campbell (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) as a co-producer.
