Why Justin Kohl From Off Campus Looks So Familiar

The character of Justin Kohl in "Off Campus" feels familiar in that tropey sense of being the second male lead who ultimately doesn't get the girl, but you might also recognize the actor behind the character from his other roles. Justin is played by Australian up-and-comer Josh Heuston, who has already popped up in several other TV shows. He's also achieved something that many aspire to: a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Granted, it was just a background part in "Thor: Love and Thunder" (he's credited as Zeus Pretty Boy), but having an MCU project on your resume is something most actors would jump through hoops for, no matter the size of the role.

Heuston made his debut as Henry in the show "Dive Club" in 2021. The series follows a group of Australian teen divers who go looking for their missing friend in the aftermath of a cyclone. The Sydney native followed up his role in "Dive Club" with another popular Australian TV show, playing the confident student Dusty Reid in the Netflix teen drama "Heartbreak High." His most high-profile role to date is in the "Dune" universe: If you're a fan of the HBO prequel series "Dune: Prophecy," you likely recognize Heuston as Constantine Corrino, the illegitimate child of the emperor. "I approached him as a wounded boy — there's a lot of pain involved, and also clarity," Heuston told Cero magazine.

Despite his good looks and charm in the role as Justin Kohl, Josh Heuston will not be returning for "Off Campus" Season 2. However, showrunner Louisa Levy has stated that the door is not completely closed on a return for Justin, as she liked working with Heuston and there is always the potential to fold him into a later season.

One role the actor will definitely be reprising is Constantine Corrino. In 2025, Heuston revealed that he was returning for "Dune: Prophecy" Season 2 and that filming would begin in August of that year. Shooting has now wrapped and the sophomore season of the HBO show is expected to drop before the end of 2026.

Even if he doesn't return to "Off Campus," it's clear that Heuston's career is primed to take off, and he's very much enjoying the crazy ride he's been on so far. "It's the same reason why a roller coaster is scary, but it's exciting," the model-turned-actor told Flaunt. "You only get one shot at [life], so you may as well try and risk it for the biscuit and do something cool."
