Save The Dates: Heated Rivalry Star's New Drama, CBS Daytime Returns, And More

The streamer has set a Friday, October 23 premiere date for "YAGA," an eight-episode mystery thriller starring Williams as Henry Park, the missing heir to a powerful fishery. The series will launch with two episodes, followed by weekly installments through a two-episode finale on Friday, November 27.

Based on the play by Kat Sandler, "YAGA" follows Rapp (played by "Schitt's Creek" alum Noah Reid, the newly announced star of a potential "Sheriff Country" spin-off), "a private investigator who arrives in the small coastal town of Whittock to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Williams)." There, Rapp "finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Clark Backo), a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine (Carrie-Anne Moss), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic."

• CBS has announced fall return dates for its daytime lineup: "The Price Is Right" Season 55 and "Let's Make a Deal" Season 18 will both bow Monday, September 21, with Drew Carey beginning his 20th season as host of the former and Wayne Brady's "Deal" set to celebrate its 3,000th episode in January. "The Young and the Restless" Season 54 begins Thursday, October 8, while "Beyond the Gates" Season 3 kicks off Tuesday, December 29; Season 2 remains in progress. Meanwhile, "The Bold and the Beautiful," which began its 40th season on September 8, will build toward a "shocking twist" timed to its 40th anniversary in March.
• "Tuner," starring Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman, will begin streaming Monday, September 21, on Paramount+. The thriller follows Niki (Woodall), "a gifted young piano tuner whose heightened sense of hearing leads him to discover an unexpected aptitude for cracking safes — turning his carefully ordered life upside down," per the official logline.
• Netflix has released a trailer for "Lupin" Part 4, premiering Friday, October 23. Picking up four years after the end of Part 3, "Assane is still in prison. For him, Lupin is no more: he wants to serve out his sentence and keep the promise he made to his son to go and meet their family in Senegal. But his plans are turned upside down by a mysterious announcement signed by Lupin: multiple museums are to be hit with simultaneous heists!"
