The Traitors Scores Three-Season Renewal At Peacock

There's going to be a lot more dead Faithfuls by the time "The Traitors" is through: Peacock has renewed the reality competition series for three more seasons (in addition to the already-ordered 2027 edition), the streamer announced Wednesday. 

The news comes on the heels of the show's seven-Emmy winning spree Monday. The Alan Cumming-hosted series won trophies for Outstanding Reality Competition Program and Outstanding Host for a Reality Competition Program, among others. (See the full list of Emmy winners here.) In addition, the show made Emmy history by winning the most awards in a single year for a competition series.

Cumming is set to return as host following his third consecutive Emmy win. 

But before the series returns to Peacock, NBC will air "The Traitors: New Blood" beginning Thursday, September 17 at 8/7c, with a two-hour extended premiere (Episodes 1 and 2). The Fall 2026 broadcast run will feature all civilians instead of the show's usual who's-who of reality TV stars. (Watch a trailer for "New Blood" here; episodes will stream next day on Peacock.)
